Flowers & Design
In the previous post we saw how a same theme, the flowers, were represented in different periods of history of contemporary art, but this time we have wanted to go a little further and we have stressed how this same theme can be also found in other areas such as fashion and design. Jewelry, perfumes and furniture are just some of the many supports that admit a great variety of vegetal representations and different flowers.
However, after seeing so many depictions of flowers in art and design ,where can we draw a line that distinguishes these two areas? The objects represented here can also be considered art? Or even we dare to ask you: fashion is art?
